Application Support Engineer / Windows System Administrator

 

Strong technical understanding of system architecture and deployment requirements, with the ability to provide clear guidance to the Site Services team and effectively collaborate on troubleshooting and technical issues.

Your responsibilities:

  • Administering and maintaining Windows Server environments.
  • Managing and troubleshooting MS SQL Server databases.
  • Coordinating deployments, releases, patches, and system changes.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including Runbooks, DR Plans, and SOPs.
  • Supporting Incident and Change Management processes.

We are looking for you, if you have:

  • Windows Server: Strong knowledge of administration, configuration, and maintenance (the entire MS-Pension environment runs on Windows Servers).
  • Database: Good knowledge of MS SQL Server (ability to manage, configure, and troubleshoot DB-related issues).
  • Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation (Runbooks, Disaster Recovery Plans, SOPs).
  • Solid understanding of deployment processes (managing releases, implementing changes/patches in test and production environments).
  • Familiarity with corporate IT procedures (Change Management, Incident Management - ideally someone who knows their way around ServiceNow).
