Business Analysis Practitioner for Workforce product.

Scope of the Polaris project: transition of Pay, Time & Benefits in small and mid-sized countries in EMEA and APAC to Workday and centralised payroll vendors (70+ small and mid-sized countries).
As a Time and Absence Business Analyst you will work closely as a bridge between business and IT by providing business analysis services within the Polaris Project, with EMEA and APAC regions.
You will be responsible for managing requirements and documentation with Payroll, Time and Benefits Program stakeholders. The focus of this position is to work closely with these stakeholders to understand the business needs for the Workday Time and Absence module, adjust and improve current and new processes, and amend the services around the platform. Last but not least to ensure the implementation teams can provide solutions that meet the business need with the necessary reliability, usability, and scalability.

Your responsibilities:

  • Driving and performing the requirements gathering process in Time and Absence Area. The role requires capacity for fluency in technical and business expertise
  • Business requirement analysis, and the ability to make recommendations on the requirements
  • Collaborating closely with Employee Life Cycle Management and Payroll, Time and
  • Absences team members in the requirements gathering process
  • Identifying gaps and propose solutions for the gaps identified
  • Facilitate and validate system and user acceptance testing
  • Expertise in business process and/or data modelling
  • Updating relevant documentation
  • Ensure all applications supporting the business are compliant with internal security,risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Instruct the Workday Time and Absence Configurators according to the collected requirements and monitor the progress of the implementation
  • Support the testing activities of the Workday Time and Absence module
  • Support the hypercare phases of the Workday Time and Absence module

We are looking for you, if you have:

  • You are a strong communicator & team player with multicultural acceptance and service orientation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science / Technology or HR oriented Degree
  • 5 + years experience as Business Analyst ideally within the People & Culture area is a plus
  • Strong sense of communication and ability to align within multiple stakeholders
  • High familiarity with Workday modules, especially the Time and Absence module
  • Strong analytical skills and coordination skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven track record in getting decisions / sign-offs
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to plan own work to meet objectives, and to work independently, mainly in virtual environment
  • Extensive IT Project Experience in small to midsize projects is a plus
