Field Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Field Systems Engineer to join an innovative project focused on bringing AI-powered computer vision technology to industrial manufacturing.

The solution uses intelligent camera systems to monitor production lines in real time, detect operational issues, improve production efficiency, and reduce unplanned downtime.

In this role, you will be responsible for installing and deploying camera systems at manufacturing facilities across Europe and occasionally the US. You will work directly with customers in industrial environments, combining hands-on electrical installation expertise with networking knowledge and independent problem-solving.

International travel: 70–80% (primarily Europe, occasionally the US)

Your responsibilities:

  • Install and deploy AI-powered camera systems at customer manufacturing facilities.
  • Perform on-site electrical installations, cabling, and equipment connections.
  • Prepare installation documentation, including floor plans, cable routing diagrams, wiring diagrams, and checklists.
  • Coordinate installation activities with local facility engineers, maintenance teams, and external contractors.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, connectivity, and installation issues independently on-site.
  • Ensure installations are completed in accordance with technical requirements and applicable safety standards.
  • Maintain installation records and provide progress updates using internal collaboration and project management tools.

We are looking for you, if you have:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical installations, field service, or equipment installation within manufacturing facilities.
  • Valid electrical qualifications authorizing work on electrical cabinets operating above 24V.
  • Practical knowledge of Ethernet networking and network cabling.
  • Experience reading and creating electrical wiring diagrams, floor plans, and installation documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently resolve technical issues on-site.
  • Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Good organizational and communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with customers and contractors.
  • Familiarity with everyday collaboration tools such as Slack, shared spreadsheets, and project trackers.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally for approximately 70–80% of working time.

We offer:

  • Participation in interesting and demanding projects.
  • A great, non-corporate atmosphere.
  • Opportunities for development and promotion.
  • Attractive package of benefits.

We reserve the right to contact the selected candidates.
